To get the story behind the drop, we sat down with the team behind the magic: Gabrielle Thompson (Director of Footwear), Rosie Jamieson (Associate Director of Technical Footwear), Catherine Kingdon (Product Development Manager), and Hannah Trotman (Product Developer). 1. Where did the idea for Levi come from?

Gabrielle: It started with a simple question—how do we take a classic but modern sneaker, and make it better? Not just cooler, more fashion forward, but actually more wearable. Something with all the looks our community wants and more, but with arch support and actual comfort built in. Levi’s that answer.

Rosie: We also noticed how women are styling their sneakers now—there’s a shift toward pared-back, low-profile shapes that still feel elevated. Levi was our way of bringing that to life, the FRANKIE4 way.

2. What makes Levi different from other sneakers?

Catherine: Oh, where do we start? I’ll start with a few main reasons. Firstly, Levi’s crafted from responsible leather sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG) Gold and Silver rated tanneries. Secondly, it includes our clever, complimentary Sole Saver Pack®: it’s our podiatrist-designed, three-fit footbed with adjustable components for narrow, regular, or wide fits.
