How To: Make a Statement with Animal Print

Are you looking to spice up your footwear but unsure how to style a statement shoe?
Animal print is one of my favourite ways to inject some personality and fun into an outfit, and also my first suggestion for clients wanting to get more wear out of their wardrobe staples. Not only are FRANKiE4 shoes incredibly comfortable and supportive, their incredible range of prints, patterns and designs means there is always something for everyone. I had so much fun playing dress ups with 4 of their latest styles in animal print and I promise, not only are they a dream to wear but incredibly versatile as well.

Easy Neutrals

If you are someone with a wardrobe full of easy neutrals (think white, black, grey and navy), these in LUCY II in Mustard Python are the perfect pair of sneakers to make your outfits pop. A dress and a cool pair of kicks is a great look for all women (not to mention comfy as!) but these sneakers are the secret sauce to taking the go-to combo up a notch.

Black & White

Nothing quite beats the sophistication of black and white. Whether you opt for pants, skirts, shorts or a dress, the addition of a textured green shoe adds an unexpected edge. I love the HANNAH style as they can function as either a ballet flat or a sneaker in our wardrobes making them a great all rounder for work or play. Although a rarer animal print, this Forest Green Reptile is surprisingly versatile. Style Tip – Pair with your favourite neutrals or play with contrasting colours such as pink or red.

Little Black Dress

A little black dress has long been touted as a ‘wardrobe essential’ for women and I wholeheartedly agree! However always pairing this classic fave with a black or beige heel can leave you feeling a bit uninspired. I love the freshness and interest that these PAiGE heels in Chalk Snake add to this classic silhouette. You can either round out the outfit with a white bag and accessories, or keep everything streamlined and allow the shoes to do all the talking.

Ready, steady, repeat!

One of my favourite ways to wear a statement shoe is to repeat the colour of the print somewhere else in my outfit too. As we slowly move into the cooler weather, I am looking forward to wearing lightweight knits and jeans again. Your favorite white sneaker can transition easily with you and these WiNNiE II in Mauve Python are no exception. The panel of silver on the back adds a tiny touch of luxe and the pop of pink looks great when paired back with another pink element.

Experience the FRANKiE4 difference.
