Why I love and live in sneakers!

Is there any other shoe movement this year that we love more,
than the comfy humble sneaker that has now been skyrocketed to desirable and totally fabulous status? I think not.

After pretty much being able to run around the city in stilettos in your twenties all day long at work, and dance the night away, let’s be honest - when you approach your forties, comfort is key. One of the trends I have absolutely embraced wholeheartedly this year - thanks to staying home a lot more than usual, and more of an acceptance of comfort and casual looks in our everyday style - is the fact that we can now wear sneakers with pretty much anything. And I mean anything. In fact, when I shop now, I ask myself “does this outfit/piece pass the sneaker test?” And pretty much all fashion pieces are now a firm “yes”!

Say hello to CHLOE

Now let’s talk about my latest obsession: introducing ‘CHLOE’, the cream sneaker with her zebra print tab, from FRANKiE4 Footwear. Firstly, as a serial sneaker addict, you can never have too many pairs. Living in regional NSW, with very unpredictable weather, it’s the style of shoe I wear for the longest period of the year (bonus is not having to stress about pedicures for most of the year lol). Secondly, the cream colour is so practical, a neutral colour is perfect to mix and match with various outfits, looks and prints. And then the fact that I am obsessed with absolutely anything animal print, for this South African gal, this little touch of zebra is everything!

Here is how you can style her in 4 different ways,
to achieve 4 completely different looks.

Featuring CHLOE Cream Zebra

1. Business Casual Style

We can now bring our comfy sneaker style to the office! Wear any corporate outfit with these fabulous sneakers for a more casual, luxe business style. My go-to is a classic boyfriend jacket, paired with a crisp, classic white shirt and a comfortable, stylish pant.

2. Off-Duty Style

Heading out for brunch on a Saturday with the girls? We want to enjoy the glorious spring weather, look fabulous and still be comfy and able to layer if needed. Throw on a cool cotton dress, and grab your denim jacket just in case.

3. Summer Fun Style

Out and about in Summer, hitting the shops in the city and need that extra added comfort and support - yet still, look fabulous? Love pairing these with this a cute summer romper - so lovely and cool in the warmer months. Remember a fabulous hat, sunnies and shoulder bag (must keep hands free for shopping) - and you are good to go.

4. Glam Style

Heading out for the night? No more baby giraffe wobbles ...ever! Forego the heels altogether (you know you want to take them off within a few hours anyway) and have your comfy party sneakers on from the start! You can absolutely wear that party dress with your sneakers for a sassy dressed up look.

ANDRi is seen here wearing KOURTNEY Peach Snake, STEViE White/Clay & CHLOE Cream Zebra.

There you have it gals, 4 ways to wear the fabulous CHLOE sneaker from FRANKiE4. But remember, you can achieve these 4 looks with any pair of your favourite sneakers. And don’t ever be scared to clash prints! Know that you can make it your own and have fun with your personal style. Stay safe, fabulous and always comfy!
